We stopped for a quick bite before heading to a theatre near by. We didn’t have a reservation but the staff squeezed us in. The food was amazing: very tasty and fresh.
Had a meal here last night. On holidays in Ghent. Loved the decor and atmosphere immediately. Gorgeous crockery. Menu was beautiful but you need a smartphone to scan and view. The place was really busy and there were 5 of us. We all picked three dishes as its all about sharing. Everybody loved it. Some of the dishes were so good we added more. There were only two waiters but they really were on top of it even though every table was full. Would highly recommend. Everything was so delicious I couldn't choose a favourite. We all loved it. My belgian friends who is very much into traditional food loved it so much he said he will definitely be returning. High praise indeed!!! A fabulous meal and a fabulous evening. Next time I come over from Ireland I will be back for more. We'll done guys. Super impressed.
Definitely the best syrian restaurant in Gent, good location, delicious food, everything fresh and tasty, well organized and friendly staffs! 100% recommend and better make a reservation before if you’re going in a group to make sure you have a table! Looking forward to go back soon to them!
LOVED IT. Such a delightful place in Ghent! Such fast service, amazing prices, seriously delicious food. This place was extremely vegetarian friendly. The eggplant was perfectly cooked. The falafel was crispy and fresh and delicious. The salad was so fresh and flavorful. We were so happy with our meal! The house wine was also so cheap but delicious. Seriously 5/5 for the taste and cost. Only thing you have to be aware of is that it is cash only. This was such a gem.
Delicious, flavorful, fresh food. Came for dinner Friday evening and luckily got seated. The cauliflower, veal grape leaves, and falafel wrap were standouts. Would visit again.
Ordered quasi everything on the menu and it was all absolutely delicious, each dish in its own way with very distinct flavours. A feast for the senses!
The food was delicious and portions were perfect. We will definitely be back! The only weird (for lack of a better word) aspect was the waitress telling us that we had to order 5 dishes, even though we were only 2 people. That's a bit much.
I had an amazing experience at this Syrian restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors and perfectly cooked. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a beautiful touch of Syrian culture in the decor. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts was top-notch. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a true taste of Syria. Definitely a 5/5
